The award-winning documentary ‘Becoming Colleen’ about an elderly transgender woman transitioning as she enters aged care can be used as a teaching and training resource for both high school students and aged care and health workers.

This shows how film, as a creative medium, can be used to inform and improve health outcomes for people with diverse sexual and gender identities, particularly in aged care settings.
