Arts and Arts Education In Crisis: Public Forum

In collaboration with Australian Theatre for Young People, the CREATE Centre is holding a Public Forum with arts workers and educators to get the word out there that this is something the Australian public needs and wants.  'Arts and Arts Education In Crisis Public Forum', 5pm Monday 2 May, Rebel Theatre, ATYP Pier 2/3 Hickson Road, Dawes Point Sydney.

ABC Online Event: Could Creativity Help with Mental Wellbeing?

To commemorate the premiere of Space 22, an original documentary series that tackles the ways in which art and creativity can impact mental health, the ABC is hosting an online event, All In The Mind, to discuss the upcoming series and the topic of art as a social prescription to support mental health.

Expanding Health Humanities: Links and limits for creative public health 

"What might an expanded health humanities look like? How does valuing creative practice and research trouble our understandings of ‘effective health care’? What ethical challenges for health care are presented by transdisciplinary health humanities research and practice?" Join this public event hosted by University of Canberra’s Health Humanities Network on Thursday April 21, 1pm-5pm.

‘New Work Ahead’ live from Wagga Wagga Art Gallery

In a social and cultural world that has multiple, simultaneous complexities, what role might a socially engaged artist play in confronting these challenges? On Saturday the 19.2.22 at 11am The Cad Factory will be streaming the first public event from the CASE Incubator program ‘New Work Ahead: No Lines Marked’ live from Wagga Wagga Art Gallery.
