Nerida Walker is an arts and health practitioner whose work connects creativity, community and wellbeing.
Drawing on experience in project implementation, arts administration and creative production, she has worked across health, arts and community sectors to support programs that foster engagement, connection and positive experiences.
Her work has included contributing to Arts for Health initiatives across Hunter New England Local Health District, supporting partnerships between artists, clinicians, researchers and communities. As a performing artist, director and producer, she brings both creative and operational perspectives to the design and delivery of arts-based initiatives.
Nerida is committed to collaborative practice and creating opportunities for participation through arts and cultural experiences. Her ongoing involvement with the Newcastle Writers Festival and Junior Theatre Festival Australia reflects her passion for connecting people through creativity, storytelling and shared cultural life.
