I am creative producer and academic researcher specialising in inclusive and creative approaches to public engagement. With a background spanning science communication, documentary media, and inter- and transdisciplinary arts, my work brings together diverse ways of knowing to create spaces where complex ideas can be explored publicly, relationally, and with care.
Over the past 15+ years, I have worked across diverse international contexts ton projects including Indigenous-led programming, large-scale participatory installations, and community-centred workshops that respond to local context and lived experience. Through this I supported communities to shape – not just access – cultural and scientific conversations, and to challenge dominant narratives around expertise. Work I have produced has been covered in publications such as NewScientist and the Guardian, featured on the BBC, and recognised by the World Health Organisation for its innovative approach to inclusive engagement. My academic work builds on this practice, offering a critical lens on the labour required to produced community-led and public engagement activities.
