Diane Busuttil is a dance artist, educator, and filmmaker whose work spans Australia and international stages. She holds a BA in Dance from Western Sydney University and a Masters in Research from Macquarie University. Diane has worked as a curator, choreographer, and performer across Australia, Europe, and Asia, including touring major international festivals after relocating to Berlin in 2000.
Her artistic practice explores the intersections of dance, theatre, music, visual arts, and digital technology, with a strong commitment to the cultural and community value of the arts. In 2018, Diane founded Creative Caring, which regularly delivers dance, theatre, and drama programs to aged care facilities, hospitals and community settings. With a focus on dementia support and co-creativity, Creative Caring enhances physical and mental health through inclusive, socially engaged, and creatively collaborative experiences.
