Over the past 20 years I’ve moved from pursuing an on stage career, to being off stage, from seeking to be in front of the camera, to being behind the camera, as I have collaborated with over 1000 participants to tell their story in short form documentary video.
I have learned the benefits which a true story, well told, can bring. Not only to the teller but also to the viewer.
I have landed on a mission “to enable others to find their true voice” which guides my work as I seek to understand whose voice or voices in each film I am enabling. Further how I can assist them through telling their story, to express in an authentic way, their unique essence.
This involves accepting our vulnerability and embracing our strengths. This process often offers a generous invitation, to understand ourselves better, and to find connection with each other.
